This virtual training and mentorship program is designed to equip providers with the resources they need to build a sustainable career. Together, we will dive deeply into key topics, enhance educational and business skills, and work collaboratively to transform the family child care sector.
Learning Objectives
Enhance your professional skills by engaging in training & learning alongside peers.
Receive support from peer mentors to set individual goals.
Build networks to help combat isolation in the field of family child care.
Requirements:
Selection Criteria:
This program is open to all Family Child Care Providers, both licensed and licensed-exempt, who have worked with at least one subsidized child in the past 12 months.
Training:
You will gather monthly on Zoom with a cohort of peers and participate in discussions, mentorship, and training related to business and child development.
Monthly Meetings:
Held once a month to put into practice what was learned and reflect on the topics discussed.
Peer Mentor Support:
From January to June, a peer mentor will be available twice a month for one-hour sessions to support you in formulating and achieving your individualized goals.
Application Process
Applications are open from September 18th to September 28th at midnight.
