Applications are grouped by the three union regions—Local 99, Local 521, and UDW/AFSCME Local 3930.
The equipment will be divided between the three union regions, and recipients are selected through a lottery system within each region.
Devices will be shipped directly to selected providers.

If you are selected to receive the benefit.
You must complete a W-9 form before receiving your equipment.
You will receive a 1099 tax form as the equipment value exceeds $600. This is considered "ordinary non-employment income."

"This benefit has been very beneficial for me in tracking child care attendance and providing a computer for the kids to do homework before and after school. It has also been a great tool in helping me learn and navigate technology."
